        Summary
Photo of a mural at the Tetitla compound showing what has been identified as the Great Goddess of Teotihuacan. We know it’s her because of the Woven nature of her clothing. Frontal always (because she is a God). Body is disembled (abstracted) which is commonly seen with the Great Goddess. She is wearing a green stone maks and jewelry ear spools. Shawl - shows that she is a woman, she serves as a metaphor for the city. Images on the sides coming from her hands/arms symbolize abundance and prosperity.
